When managing multiple computers on a network one has to keep track of licenses and compare them with the software installed on computers, there are several ways to do this. One is to purchase third party software but as we know the budget is somewhat limited in some cases so the other option is to do manual mind.

I found a script that we removed the installed software and hardware, we can leave this script in a share and to initiate the user logs on the computer running this script (may be by group policy) and the information is stored in this share.

So we get an inventory of software and hardware for each computer on our network, you can download the script here
